plant cozies
February 4th, 2008
This is a half assed craft. But I’m not a knitter or crocheter, but I have seen a few pot cozies around the internets and I wanted some myself. So I cut off the sleeve of a felted sweater and voila! A little blanket stitch action on the top of one and damn if it doesn’t make those crappy plastic pots looks good.
that’s all I got. have a good day everyone!

See, that’s the creative part of craft! They look fab. Now whose sweater can I shrink?
That’s a great idea. Simple, clever and charming!
Those really are cute! Unfortunately, it would be cruel and unusual punishment to bring any living plant into my home, because it surely won’t live long. Ah, well…
Just too cute for words.
cheating! haha i kid, i kid. you are clever.
and the photograph is gorgeous, as always.
You are my hero!!! I can DO that project!
must try this! (now if only I can keep the plants alive)
Simple and lovely. My kind of crafting!

Cute cozies! Sleeves of felted sweaters are perfect – I have a few plastic pots that could use cozying up so thanks for the great idea :)
