a question
August 6th, 2010
After kids clothes week ended, there were a bunch of you who asked if we could do it again in the fall. Well, now fall is quickly approaching and I’m wondering if you still want to do it. And if so when? If we do it soon, then it could be a back to school thing, but if we do it later–say in September–then the kids would be at school and we would actually have some time to sew for them! Tell me what you think in the comments and we’ll make a decision soon.
Little Mr. freshly squeezed up there won’t be in school, but will kindly wear anything thing I make for him. Or buy: the awesome shirt he’s wearing was made by my friend Mo and you and your littles can have one too.

Late September! :) That way I’ll be done with my Sewing 101 class and will actually feel confident to try making clothes!
September, the later the better. The oldest will be in school a few days a week and I cannot wait to dust off the sewing machine and make some cool weather clothes.
I vote for late September, just because my parents are coming in for a visit and we’ll be too busy running around to actially sit down and sew something.
I vote September as well. Our first baby is due Oct. 6! I think it would be fun to spend some of those last days sewing-a-long.
Anytime in September sounds great! Thanks for being a continual source of inspiration and motivation!
Wait a minute — is this a photo of your BABY??? How old is he now? Sheesh, time flies. OK, back to sewing for kids week. I didn’t participate last time but might if you did one this fall b/c I picked up some vintage plaid wool to make a coat for my son. So count me in as Probably.
I’m all for September, and quiet crafting!!
Whenever you hold it count me in!
I was planning to do a kids sewing week in the next few months anyway, but the group motivation would be fantastic. Anytime suits me since my son’s a toddler.
I’d love, love, love to do it again — soon! By September, we’ll really know what we need (and what size these growing girls are!)
Thanks for the inspiration! I loved the last one.
I would be thrilled to do it again. Late september gives me time to find inspiration and the kiddos will be in school. Well one only 2 days but much easier!
anytime in Sept… maybe the 1st week of Sept?
I vote September, when the big yellow angel is back and I can have some time to myself in the afternoons.
I vote for late September too. I have never participated in one of these before but I would love to and if it’s before school is in full swing, I will never get to it. Than again, with school in full swing there is no telling if I’ll be able to do it either lol. I will try my best though.
I don’t mind, as my littlies are pre-schoolers, but September would give me more time to prep.
oh yes yes yes …. late september for me please so i have lots of dreaming and planning time!!!
I’d love to do it again. Late September would be great.
I can’t wait for it to start! I am a new follower and I love the idea. I am a beginner and your blog inspires me to continue sewing much more! thank you for sharing all your great ideas.
that sounds awesome meg, I’d love to join in this time, so the later the better. I hope to find some fun winter clothes to make, I really can’t even think of any right now…
September would be better for me too. I’d love to do this again, it was so much fun the first time.
Yes, yes please September. I hope I can get it together this time!
Late September! Can’t wait, the last one was So. Much. Fun. :)
Oh, do! September would be great and since I finally took a little time to figure out Flickr I will get my photos posted in a more timely manner. The last sew-along was so. darn. fun.
I’d love to do it again! I have a whole pile of fabric and patterns waiting to become school clothes. Anytime would be great. Thanks! And, please let us know if there is something we could do to help!
I would love to give it a go this time around! Mid to late September is good for me. Thanks!
