kcwc fall 2011: day six
October 15th, 2011
Wow, sorry I’m so late with a post today. I forgot about actual work :)
I am pretty proud of this little skirt. It’s a basic, a-line denim skirt with a flat front, a bit of topstitching, and some good pockets. Nothing flashy about it, but it just looks right. You know what I mean?
What is it doing in a circle of glittery gold? After kcwc is over and done I tell you all about it (hey, you might even want to subscribe…)
Only today and tomorrow left! and I know you have lots to hem….
holy cow do i love that skirt. it’s perfect and i totally wish it was adult sized. you’re so right about it being just right. amazing!
It’s fantastic. The stitching is really nice and even and yes, it looks just right. Denim, in its simplicity, can be so beautiful.
You are dead on. That skirt is great, love the denim style and it’s sewn to perfection. Nice work. Thanks for highlighting my little man’s coat. How fun to see his cute face pop up. I want to kiss him every time! And, thanks for a great week of sewing. It’s reinvigorated me…I was dragging a bit in the inspiration department and now I’m chuffed (as my husband would say). KCWC is really an amazing things.
I love them denim skirt, too.
(Thanks for the shout out, Meg.)
Simple. Classic. That skirt is perfect! Hmmm… can’t wait to see what I’ll be subscribing to!
